This phrase has been thrown around a lot on this forum by myself and others. I thought I knew what I meant, but after thinking about it I think I've changed my mind.
What does this phrase really mean? "Don't enter her reality"??????? At first glance it seems like some sort of cryptic message warning us men not to enter the realm of female reality. But why shouldn't we? Why is that a bad thing?
If you think about it, and really understand what's meant by this phrase you'll start to see that it's the cornerstone of a happy relationship. "Her reality" means looking at things from her point of view. It means trading your perspective for hers. It means making your opinions mean less and hers mean more. Now why is this bad for a relationship? From personal experience I can attest to the fact that it's terrible for a relationship. When you enter the woman's reality, the relationship is doomed to fail. When women are given the opportunity to shape a relationship, THEY LOSE RESPECT FOR YOU. That's right, when you enter her reality, she will lose respect for you.
But why would she lose respect for me you might ask? Look at it this way, women love to assert themselves to see if you're a man. When you stand up to them and make it clear that you won't tolerate it, they'll either leave(which is a good thing) or they'll gain more respect for you. Men have become wimps. Women know that very few men have what it takes to honestly stand up to them and LEAD a relationship. On some unconscious level even the most ardent feminist is attracted to a man that won't bend to her whims.
I've seen countless friends of mine think they're doing the right thing by letting their mates control the reality of the relationship. They sit with their shyt eating grins thinking they have the world by the ass. Then when the bytch pulls the rug out from underneath them, they whine like wounded puppies about how they can't believe she did that. WELL WHAT THE HELL DID YOU EXPECT????? IF YOU LET HER LEAD, SHE'LL LEAD THE RELATIONSHIP TO THE TOILET.
Just my perspective on the issue, and I welcome others with differing opinions.
