"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

You can't be in a LTR without investing emotionally.

Yes you can,I am proof positive.I have emotions but keep them in check, you do this by keeping yourself the top priority and NOT your woman.Since I have learned emotional control my relationships have been much more fulfilling. If you have overwhelming emotional pain after a breakup you have no one to blame but yourself.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

We should blame ourselves for loving the people we seduced?

The more we loved them, the better we scored... and the more it hurts to lose them.

Losing someone we love sucks. It doesn't mean we messed up. We can't reverse engineer the pain away by preemptively not loving the next person. The pain should inspire us to improve so we are less likely to lose others who we love, but we shouldn't feel guilty for having loved them.

Why are we using language like this? "She will destroy you". "She will ruin your world". "She will break you... unless you become a robot". Stop empowering women this way.
We are not empowering women. It's the way life is.

It seems to me you guys haven't seen what women can do with a little emotion and manipulation if things don't go her away. Personally I've seen them kill and steal from my family, with police and society blaming the victim, my family, instead of the perpetrator, her and her family.

But hey, let's show our emotions and give her our soul to be in a LTR.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

What? This is par for the course. They toughen us up this way.

If you think women rejecting us is hard, try having work and reality rejecting us.

The rub with screening is often enough you don't spot the red flags until you've been hooking up for a while and their "true" self-emerges. Given time, she'll let down her guard and reveal who she is.

The hard part, then, becomes when you become more emotionally invested because of the sechs that all those neurochemicals swarming around in the hamster-brain bring that clouds sound judgment and allows rationalizing walking away.
Exactly. Women are master manipulators. The makeup, the hair, the short skirts, the heels, the eyelashes, the way they flutter their eyes, that is how they survive.

Every woman is a risk.

But at some point you still have to live your life. Security doesn't exist. Just be smart about how you deal with women. If a relationship ends with you being disappointed consider yourself lucky. I've only had one really dramatic break up where a woman tried to f*ck my life up. But she was kind of crazy to begin with and I should of known better.

The good news is we have so much technology today. Your phone can record everything that goes on. If you suspect a woman is on the path to screwing you.. start recording her. Save any threatening text messages. There are still ways to protect yourself. If you're smart.

Lool.... I think that there are MORE foreign BPD's than American ones, a lot of "daddy touchin" going on in Russia and Asia in general...it doesn't matter how hot they are either...never enter the "feels" zone..

Watch out for oxytocin and cuddlers then. I'm only human.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

What do you do to keep your emotions in check?

I have a habit of getting annoyed and ignoring them until I'm not annoyed anymore

It's ok to love her. It's ok to feel ecstasy when you hold her and make love to her. But it's not ok to need her.

Ultimately, we need to maintain emotional self control. Be stoic in the worst moments of the relationship, even though they are masters at getting a rise out of us.

That is, if she says it's over, she only gets poker face. You need to be able to jump straight to Stage 4 of the Five Stages: Acceptance. She observes no Denial, no Anger, no Bargaining - and hopefully no Depression.

The strong suffer in silence.

When we do this, we pass her ultimate test and (along with self improvement, time and space) it's our best chance to restore her interest level.

The strong suffer in silence.
Why suffer? I just use all that new time and space to find a new challenge that will help grow and improve as a man. After every breakup, I take up a new hobby and put 100% into it to heal. It's my recipe solution for getting over oneitis.

I'm not approaching like in a supreme ninja (and subsequently getting laid fast), so I find something that I've had percolating in the back of my mind to do and jump on it.

After my breakup in April, I bought a slick electric guitar three days later. I've been attending weekly lessons since and try to practice an hour a day. :D

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

A woman rejecting us for needing her is simply her reminding us that she is not our mommy. That's the real issue. Our mothers lied to us and told us that all women would love to change our diapers and feed us, and that all we ever need to do is cry and we'll get our way.
