"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Ok here´s the story

Been Dating my current gf for 5 months, and she is really into me and "loves" me. The thing is she has this "special online friend" for 2y but never meet him in person the guy is 10y older than her on his thirties, anyway seems to me since he percived her to detach from him he starts vomiting how much she loves her , how their connection is special , and should meet in person, their soulmates bla bla bla . Anyway how i discovered this? , the other day i was messing with her comp and found the msn logs, she told him that she loves me but that sometimes she´s divided. The damage is done and im kinda pissed. What you guys would do ? Im competing with a imaginary bastard

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Ignore it. Dude, this is a frickin MSN Character we are talking about. If she's falling in love with a PC, your doing something drastically wrong!

I've gamed lots of girls online. It's easy. They fall in love with guys over the net everyday because it is 'easy'. They imagine you as being this 'ultra male', a god amongst men and they can't wait to meet you. But at the end of the day, the guy is words and numbers. Don't worry about him. Just play your own game, maybe back off her a bit and give her the gift of missing you.

Just don't, and i mean DON'T get jealous of some fricking Character on the web. Your the one giving her the love. Not him. Just ignore him, if it gets out of hand, then call her on it and handle it with coolness.

Good luck,

Sarge On...
Are you kidding me?

The fact that she is talking to some fictional character means jack! It's WHAT she is saying that means the most!

"Sometimes I feel divided..."

That is womanglish for:

"I think I need some space..."

give her some space, take a break and walk away.
