Do you guys personally know anybody that abuses women... like legitimately swings at them and the such? How is this person's personality like? I'm wondering if it is possible to tell if someone is an abuser by their actions/personality.

I don't know of anyone personally, but there are several members on here that actually advocate it.

I've heard of many stories but no one i'm personally close with. The abusers are generally very dominate and possessive. The basically cage the girl with rules and guidelines and turns her into a slave.

I'm not an advocate of hurting women because its the play a bully would do, but when a women threatens to hit me or hits me.........then i take that as a challenge. If you want to challenge me like an equal please be prepared for me to treat you equally.

I should probably also learn to be the bigger person and walk away. I can never convince myself which one is more correct as people that know they can take advantage of you or bully you will do it again. One girl that was a b1tch to me for so many years and was part of my social circle, threatened to fight me last january.

i told her sure. I would let her hit me 10 times in the face and after she's done, i will hit her once and she will not get up. "I guarantee it" i told her. I also told her, "I guarantee no one at this table will stand up for you, and If they try, i will put them down." There were like 4 guys and 3 girls at the table and no one stood up. She then ran around acting all crazy trying to get to me but people stopped her. I just kept talking calmly with my friends. She did get to me finally and i did not run away since i promised her 10 free hits. I looked her directly in the face and she did the same. she didn't have the balls to punch me.

Since then we're on good terms now, she's alot nicer to me in general and never gives me sh1t. I treat her nicer too because she treats me nicer.

It can afflict anyone really. The more money the couple has and the more there is to lose, the worse the violence can be. It has three stages: building up, lashing out and the honeymooning phase which can go on and on for a longass time. A lot of times they were the easiest calls I could go on in a night. Sometimes they were the very worst scenes to go into.
