"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Anyone ever date a geek girl?

I went on a date tonight that went rather well. The nice thing is is I found it very easy. This girl had an education, she was thin, and she was attractive(well behind her glasses). She is about a 7 but she could be an 8 if she dressed more girly girl.

During the date I found that I had to tone down my game and just bare with her geeky nature. She talked and talked until my ear almost fell off. I guess she was just nervous.

I just let her talk, focused on Kino, and made fun of her in a playfull way. This worked rather well and when she talked about things I didn't care less about I just wondered what it would be like to have sex with her. The more I thought about it the more I realized that she is rather ****able.

Anyway the problem with this girl is that I'm not sure I can get her to clean up and look hot. I'm also worred that if it developed into an LTR she would always be in her own little geek world and wouldn't be proactive in terms of my needs (blow jobs, affection, etc)

Does anyone have any experience with plain / Geek girls that they would like to share? It seems to me that once a plain girl always a plain girl.

Why don't these kinds of girls, do their hair right, paint their nails, put lipstick on, and wear makeup? Some of them don't even show off their ass.

oh well..maybe I'm just dreaming.

I would love to get this girl to change the way she does her hair. She could look hot, but I'm just not sure how to lead her in that direction.

The way I see it , a geek girl is easy to DJ, has a clean *****, and has a brain. The problem is getting her to do some renovations before you move in on her.

Anyone out there have some success with renovating a plain girl?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

my suggestion is to make her feel more confident she may or may not have low self esteem/confidence i dont know. but making her feel good about herself might make her go out and buy nice clothes and make herself look good for you.

if shes already confident and just geeky i guess when she goes shopping you could go with her and when she puts on something really hot tell her she looks good really good in it. or pick out something hot for her and ask her to try it on and tell her she looks hot in it.

as for the makeup i wouldnt know how to suggest it without insulting the girl.

funny you should say that. I am currently gaming (been on a couple of dates that went very well, she messages me regularly) a slightly geeky (but in a lovable way) HB. She is not the plain type, though. Anyway, she doesn't seem all that reserved when it comes to the sexual stuff, so maybe the girl your talking about will turn out to be a closet freak.

So what's the difference between her and a geek on here that transformed into a DJ?

Show her how to blossom. Give her the tools she needs to improve. Take her to the mall or something and talk to a whole bunch of different people (both guys and girls) and just be friendly. After a couple of approaches, have her initiate the approach with you as her side-kick and if she starts to struggle, kick in some game so she doesn't feel the pressure. Make side comments that let her see how you try to make yourself the best you that you can be. Invite her over to your house before you go out or something and let her watch you getting styled up, even if its just going to the grocery store or something.

I would absolutely try to avoid telling her in any terms that she needs to improve her look. Instead focus on how telling her how you "like to be at your best all the time" and that this includes looking crisp. Make side-comments so that it has no chance of coming off as her being less than adequate. You want this decision to be hers, not yours.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Okay, two posts! Ack! But I have extensive experience with geeky women, so...

Do not take them to the mall! Most of them are violently allergic to shopping malls, and often allergic to shopping itself. Malls in particular, though, make them break out in hives. You don't want to go there without a tranquilizer gun.

A beautiful woman will dress to downplay her looks for several reasons, because she's insecure about them, because she doesn't want to develop a b*tch shield, because she doesn't want to date men who will value her primarily for those looks, or because she places her sense of self-worth on something other than her ability to attract male attention. The first will require almost constant reassurance and may very well dump you once she realizes that her social currency is higher than she thought. The other three won't bother spending time on their looks or will do so very rarely, preferring to "clean up well" rather than trying to look hot all of the time. A geeky woman can fall into any of these categories or any combination of them, and with the possible exception of the first, isn't going to take kindly to attempts at getting her to spruce up. She's doing what she does for a reason and trying to change her is like trying to teach a pig to sing: it wastes your time and annoys the pig.

Do you like it when women start dropping hints about how you can change to suit them? Then don't do it to her. Egoist is right. Dump her now, and spare both of you the misery of your discontent.

Perhaps you should rent one of the dozens of teen movies that do exactly what you describe.

Turn it around. Would you like someone to change you? How would YOU feel then? Take her as she is, or else move on.

i would be happy though if she just fixed her hair up.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

If a girl told me that all I had to do was change my hair and I could bang her every other day.. then I wouldn't have a problem :)

that is just it. I wouldn't want to spend too much time on trying to get this girl to fix herself up a bit.

It's like trying to get some of the SHB's who are dumb as doorknobs to change into geniuses...

Some of em you can get to do some freaky things, I find it's mostly to do with their childhoods and why they avoid it... bring em to group outings.

Last girl Is a HB9 who's got en equally hot twin... both dropped out in grade 3 because of family problems I found out... I got them to read the noted they wrote to their friends as children, and a few notes that deserve to stay between confidantes... next week I told her to get back to me as to whether shes going to be going for her GED. She got giddy over realizing all that partying was worth it if she can get her high school ed. after a few easy tests.

I started a thread on the churchgirl to attention *****... been working on it, but the more I look, the more I realize the church girls are hardcore, like me trying to change the mind of somebody who reads a story book all day and their world revovles around it... Unless I can actually change the bible, I'm not going to change the girl...

The same might fall into your situation, The girl might be so hung up on her studies and beliefs that your not going to get her to take all the time to learn what to do in the area, it may make her feel unintelligent. I can definitely SEE it working though, my scenario is rare, and all girls(guys too) want to do is just really have fun.

I just remembered that I used to know a guy at work who was the CFO that had to tell his wife off for not dressing well.

She was showing up in the office looking unkept. He had to set her right and get mad at her because she was making him look bad infront of the whole company. She made him look cheep.

When he got pissed off it worked and she started actually started dressing well.

A woman that doesn't keep her self looking good can make her man look bad (at least the successfull men anyway)

Maybe i should get pissed off with her for dressing bad. Take her out spend the money and then when she doesn't keep her hair nice or something I'll just lay into her about making me look bad.

lol
