Yeah cool, he is very bold and I can see no approach anxiety what so ever, so that is a big plus. However, he could work on his opener. Some social proof would help too so he might bring a few of his friends too, especially female friends.
This is a good example of escalating early on. Also this is a good example of the push and pull principle, in this case first sniff and then run away, they might go after him.
