"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I alot to say, but I'm not willing to put the time to argue.

So, I just want to point that while Islam permits Polygamy, it requires those to practice it to treat each wife equally and says it is not recommended.

Also as a person who is interested in history, there are examples of polygamy, but civilizations (civilization as in its actual definition of advanced society) do trend to perfer monogamy. Marriage is a concept that have developed independently in many cultures and it almost always pushes people to pair up. Therefore, monogamy is not a recently developed concept, monogamy actually been the norm. I'm not saying polygamy doesn't exist, but you do have to remember that most who practice that are with in positions of great power (king, leader, etc.), they can always defy norms in powerful of a position. Societies then and now find monogamies as the perfered way.

BTW I have to agree with that poster, calling people brain washed is not a good way to argue. One for that no one can claim to be a complete expert with complete understanding (for all you know, your ideas and others both apply well). Two, it is an argument no one can say anything back, its like telling a person that he is in denial.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

If monogamous marriage is against nature, then why is it such a struggle for MOST men to avoid becoming SO emotionally attached to women that they get ONEitis?

Hmmmmm?

Surely you must find it ironic that one of the most evil posters (if there is such a thing as evil) on this forum is, without a doubt, you LMS.

Family life used to mean something. My mom stayed at home, kept it clean, cooked good meals, managed the household essentially. This freed Dad to concentrate on paying the bills and spending time with the family. Heck, when I was growing up I never had store bought bread - everything was home baked.

I blame Hollywood for making women who take on the traditional role my Mom took on feel like losers. The traditional role of housewife is an honorable and important one, and ANY women who is woman enough to be a good housewife deserves to hold her head high.

Unfortunately it's not widely seen that way, and a lot of people see the job of housewife as being just what you described. If I ever get into the LTR market I'm gonna go for a non-western woman, or else maybe corrupt and marry an Amish babe.

We all would love a women who cooks and cleans and s.hit. But lets face it. Cooking, cleaning, and laundry isn't a 40 hour a week job. Cooking dinner, thats about an hour of work. Women aren't gonna clean every day! And laundry is like 30 seconds throw your clothes in, put some soap in, press a few buttons, you're done. But to hear women b.itch about it, you'd think they were working 8 hour days writing reports or hammering nails all day. They sleep in, get up, do a little tidying up around the house...then its off to the mall in their mercedes that their hubbies bought them with their girlfriends. Come home, throw some hamburger helper on the stove, then blab to their mothers on the phone half the night. Women got it eaaasssy!

There is a lot that a truly competent housewife does. She will manage all the household maintenance, do chores, cook for a family including breakfast and packing lunches, do the routine shopping, take care of clothes for the family (mend, wash, etc.), do linens, clean house, work on the yard - a good wife will be pretty busy and still have some time to take care of herself, which is also an important part of "the job". By doing these things she will free her husband up to be a better father and also spend more time with her and the family.

Most western women just don't have the drive or skill-set to BE a good wife anymore. They expect the man to work and to hire people to do all her tasks.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
