It seems like in Europe with "green pass" madness is getting stronger, Macron demanded jabs for french to attend non vital places till the public uproar forced him to postpone it, now its Draghi pushing italians to do the same...Germany will soon have elections so no one is trying to piss off voters yet its just a matter of time.

I'm trying to figure out if its something worldwide or mostly Euro based, how is going in your countries?

I dont want to debate about the vaccine and how effective it is, just wondering if its getting mandatory and for what.

In the USA the official answer is, yes it is necessary to either be vaccinated or wear a mask in public. However, it is only enforced on “honor system” with the exception of most government agencies and air travel. For those, masks are required regardless of vaccination status.

So according to what you write the answer is NO, you dont need to be vaccinated to hit the gym or go to the club as long as you follow any of the alternatives like masks.

My country never went into lockdown, ive been able to go gym the whole time, and i dont need a mask or vaccination proof to keep doing so (dont know about clubs since i dont go to them). That's right, whose country is the "liberal fascist socialist" hellhole now ?

Texas currently doesn't. Unfortunately, a few of our cities here that are tied to the Democratic party are trying to make us show proof of vaccine to get into public places and convention centers. A little scary really.

There are a lot of stories of vaxxed people getting the delta variant and being so sick for a few days that they wanted to die. But if you stay out of the hospital, then supposedly the vaccine did its job. I have been vaccinated but still am in no hurry to go to high risk places like crowded bars. No proof is required as of yet, to answer your questions. Mask rules are just now beginning to come back due to delta.

Ive been to crowded bars since they opened. Not sick, and people continue to show up there. You can be riskier with your life choices.

In the end I had to get the vaccine, didnt want to but did it only cause its mandatory for attending the gym.

For those not watching the news (I mean p2p news) its getting soviet in most europe, its becoming mandatory in france and in both paris and berlin there has been riots.

It seems like the western concensus is to vaccinate wheter people like it or not.

Why couldn't you have just work-out at home and get your own gym? What is so important about going to the gym that you had to take a jab? I thought about it myself and gym membership would not be worth a jab especially if I slacked off going to the gym pre-pandemic.

The vaccine is not the Mark of the Beast, but this is a good demonstration of how it will work. There are a lot of plans to basically torture the unvaccinated, make their lives miserable until they get it. I don't know if those plans will be implemented, but some of them already are.

Not as of yet but some states and/or places likely will be going to that. In fact, there is a large push with retailers to require a vaccination for patrons to enter their establishments and also among employers.

Soon enough people who don't want to get vaccinated will have a hard time finding a job and a hard time finding places to go to.

And with the Mark of the Beast, you need it to buy and sell. Messing with people's ability to be employed is getting pretty close to that.
Last week in the US, they said all federal employees will be required to be vaccinated, or they will have to mask, social distance, and take Covid tests once or twice a week.

That may become the model for a lot of businesses going forward. The feds also have a way of pressuring other businesses into cooperating with them also: If you want a government contract or receive government subsidies, aids, or exemptions, you might want to play ball - or else.
