"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I've been seeing a girl from college off and on for the past two months. We're both really shy. She's a goody-two-shoes 18 year-old freshman who acts like she was raised by the Waltons. She has never mentioned dating or boyfriends before so I may be the first man she has ever went out with. Anyways tonight was our third solo outing together. I bought us IMAX tickets for the new Harry Potter movie. She wore lipstick, which is a first for her. I took this as a positive sign that perhaps she would like to be more than just friends.

During the dance sequence I worked up enough courage to place my hand upon hers. She turned around and asked "What?". I quickly said "nothing" then angled my body away from hers and put my hands in my lap, sadly defeated.

Now when a guy touches a girl's hand at a movie, isn't it quite obvious he wants to hold it? Or was my move so subtle she genuniely misinterpreted it as an attempt to garner her attention?

Then when I dropped her off tonight, she lingered more than usual, as though she wanted me to try something . . .

I'm thinking about inviting her to lunch and then delivering the following speech:

"You know how in the Goblet of Fire, Ron Weasley is too shy to put the moves on Hermione? Well, when I touched your hand at the theatre I was really wanting to hold it . . . I guess what I'm trying to say is . . . Would you like to be more than just friends?"

I realize you're supposed to show women you're attracted to them, but has anyone ever had success with the telling method?

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

You're 28 and should know how to go about it by now. It is obvious you don't have much experience which isn't a bad thing but doesn't help you out here.

Go on a date with her again and kiss her - don't hesitate. Do it.

Only losers whine about trying their best, winners go home and fvck the prom queen.

Goodnight Johnboy - Goodnight Sue Ellen ..LOL-LOL

I think the real issue here is you are 28 and taking a girl out to watch Harry Potter.

Joking

But seriously DON'T DO THE HARRY POTTER SPEECH.

Read the dj bible again so you get at least some idea of what you are doing.

Quick tips:

-It's all about confidence

-You’re the prize; don't put her on a pedestal. Remember she has to win you over.

-Don't vocalize attraction make her know you are attracted through the use of body language.

-Don't be to nice but don’t be a jerk

-BE A CHALLANGE make her work for it

AND JUST INCASE YOU FORGOT DO NOT GIVE THE DAM HARRY POTTER SPEECH
