Does pubic hair thin out as you get older?

I know this is kind of strange, but I'm curious since it's happening to my body. When I was younger, my pubic hair was soft, wavy, and about 4 inches long and very thick and bushy. Now that I'm older, my pubic hair doesn't seem to grow nearly as long, only about an inch or two long, and it is much more like a brillo pad, very coarse and wirey where it kind of clumps up and creates bald looking spots between the clumps. It just looks spotty and thin and balding now, even though I'm only 31 years old. Is this a normal part of the aging process?

I don't think it matters. I just shave mine off or keep them trim, so it doesn't matter to me.

I'd prefer to keep mine trim too, but I have yet to find a way to do it without it making me itch like crazy so i go with bushy but no itch.

When I and my sex partner are trimmed, it's a nice, natural and clean looking sight that mimics a porno movie, alhough I like a little bit of a headpiece to the vulva (i.e., some trimmed hair on top.)
