I am 40... going on 41 and still pull girls in their 20’s. I have always lifted weights but there have been times where my diet was garbage. I have a picture from when I was 32 and I look horrible... puffy face... looked old. When I combine weight training, cardio and a great diet I look much... much younger.

I just took two entire weeks off of all training and went to the beach. I planned this as a good time to rest and recover from training. I ate as much as I wanted and actually ate mostly foods I forbid myself from having the rest of the year. Chicken parm, bbq ribs, tons of pasta and fried foods... a ton of alcohol. It showed in my appearance... I lost all definition... vascularity vanished... my face looks puffy and swollen... so yes... to look your best... sleep, training and diet can make you look 10 years younger!

I'm about to go to lift weights. Lifting weight is a part of picking up women well. The more muscular you are, the easier it will be to get women to have sex with you. Less game is need to seduce when muscular. Men not overly muscular can benefit from lifting weights. Lifting is good for testosterone, especially when combined with no porn, no mbate, a good diet, and 7+ hours of sleep.

Definteky plays a big part.

Although my 3 year younger brother who hasn't touched alcohol, cigarettes or drugs, not spent excessive time in sun his whole life, trains religiously, perfect clean diet looks more worn/older than me.

Absolutely - up to a certain age.
Guys will hit 2-3 walls generally as they age.
Once they hit that last wall though, they'll still be attractive to women close to their age but no longer be attractive to the really young ones.

Lifting, more so keeps the the skin tight, which tends to loosen the older you get. So besides a good body, it naturally tightens up your face and makes you look younger as a result.

Yes, also remaining lean helps with that. Most men over 40 are going to be late teens bf % at best by the time they reach early 40's.

I agree with you but I've seen the "skinny fat" body types all too often amongst the older crowd to know that you MUST stay lean AND lift weights to appear attractive. Guys that only diet still has loose flabby skin most noticeable at the pools/beaches.

goes without saying, massive advocate of weight training for health and looks.

I am age 44 however I don't look a day over 34.. And this mostly down to clean diet (unless it's cheat day) gym/training 5x per week and one day of cycling long distance cardio.

Drinking lots of water certainly helps.. As for muscles and the ladies? Yes it's definitely get you a few more points SMV wise.

Infact I have piled on the muscle in the last 3-4 weeks and when I am out & about I get many looks from females & even dudes.

It’s not lifting weights. It’s lifting weights and correct diet for a period of time which allows you to build a body fat percentage which is supportive of a better hormone level and better physique.

if you’re fat and you start, you don’t get this right away. You will get a bit of a spike post training, but it’s months of consistent effort which get the rewards.

the other thing to bear in mind that if you’re losing pounds, to gain that better body fat %, while you do that, you will actually feel a bit worse and have a worse hormone profile most of the time as your body will prob have more cortisol (diets are stressful) and less T and libido as your body doesn’t want to make babies when it thinks you’re starving to death.

you need little breaks from the diet at points to not totally reshape your hormones to a lower level and also just keep faith.

I’ve been to 40% fat, and down to 15%, currently at about 30% and I would say 35% 25% and 15% are the big points. 25% being the main one where you start feeling excellent. Anything above and you will be more depressed and lower sex drive
