Does it take more for a woman to cheat than a man to cheat?!

Hi fellows,

i think everyone of us has been cheated on sometime in their life.
I discussed cheating women with male friends yesterday.
The funny thing is, that most male friends admitted to cheating or being able to cheat. But if the females do it, then its considered worse.

Kind of a double standard here.

But one said, that it takes more for a woman to cheat in a relationship than for a man. E.g. taking the risk to get pregnant, taking the risk to be "raped" in ways they dont want because they are weaker than men, taking the risk to be socially shamed more then man, that it takes more emotionally to cheat for women than for men. Basically he said that its a way worse sign if a woman cheats an a man then the other way around.

What do you think?

Because if a woman cheats on her man, she no longer respects her man. She wants to feel alive and wants to either get boned by a dominant alpha because her man ain't like this (Procreation), or she wants to feel loved and connected to someone because her man is neglecting her (bonding)

Men are biologically programmed to spread their seed, so they wanna impregnate as many women as possible (subconsciencly ofcourse)
Women, on the other hand, are biologically programmed to receive the best seed (procreation) and when they do they get knocked up and are out of the game for 9 months, but probably some years. So she needs a bond with her man, so he sticks around to help raise and protect the offspring (bonding).

A man can forgive his woman for texting and flirting with another man. Women have a much tougher time doing so, because this feels like betrayal. Their emotional connection is betrayed. Women need this to feel safe. They need an emotional connection with their man in order to raise healthy kids who get all chances in life (bonding). So when a woman cheats on her man... that's a whole other ball game than a man cheating on his woman. She's in the process of replacing him. She is no longer bonding with him. She may also be looking for better seed (procreation).

It's equally bad if a man cheats on his woman, don't get me wrong, but I know tons of dudes who can shoot their load into some bimbo and still love their woman and want to stay with her. Men want to spread their seed and aren't looking to bond with every chick they have sex with. However, they don't want other dudes to spread their seed into their woman. They are more forgiving to emotional cheating (his girl texting another dude) than actual fysical cheating. Men prioritize procreation over bonding, women need both.

edit: I know women can have casual sex too. I'm just talking about men and women who are in a committed relationship here

If a woman cheats, she can get pregnant and turn the man into a cuck that wastes his resources raising another man's spawn. If a man cheats, at worst he'll spend some of his money on a another woman that is his money to spend how he likes anyway.

Yes and No tbh. I think the scenario of a girl just going out and randomly spontaneously hooking up with a dude to cheat is quite rare tbh. If your girl did this to you then she has cheated before and probably still with you because of something forcing her to still remain with you. A guy I could see doing this because of how we work and how rare it is for opportunities like this to happen to us. I'm also talking about normal dudes not celebrities either. It's also easier for a guy to hide cheating like this, but it's near impossible for a guy to hide a second mistress.

A girl tends to cheat every day by soft cheating. A girl will maintain her beta orbiters, work husbands, and exes for rebound cushion. Is it cheating? Technically yes, but she might have rebound sex with these men but won't date them after you. Also, some NBA player or hot millionaire with options aren't going to drop everything they are doing to **** your 6/10 wife. Y'all gotta realize that women have to compete with other women time for these alpha males too. If your woman has cheated on you with a higher value dude that she does end up dating after yall break up then this talking process was going on for months and you were clearly ignoring the red flags.

I think i read an interview with a marriage counseler that said, that if the male cheated, there is a chance to rescue the marriage. But if the female cheated, the chance seems to be fairly small. Just because females often cheat to "get out" of the relationship or to turn their attention somewhere else. Men seem to cheat more for entertainment purposes.

Also theres still more social stigma to a woman getting boned while in a realtionship vs a man doing the same. Being shamed for that is an additional risk to take for a female when cheating.

If you turned in to a low value male in the relationship so basically you got with her when you were a 7.5 and turned in to a 4.5 down the road then yes. If you are a 7.5 and the girl needs a 8.5 or higher to justify leaving you then that's more difficult. Like I said before, Jake Gyllenhaal has plenty of 9s and 10s competing for him so this magical scenario of him taking the little time out of his day to bang your 6/10 wife doesn't make any sense. Even if this does happen, she's not going to leave you until she knows he will commit which could take months or a year.

I get what you guys are saying about women being more likely to cheat emotionally or with the prospect to get to a new guy. But this doesnt explain women cheating when they are on vacation or f*cking their fitness instructor or someone on a girls night out. Women also do this for pleasure.
