"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Does it sound needy/desperate to ask a girl to chill alone?

I usually chill with my girl and all our friends. She'll usually be with her friends before, or eat with them or just have spoken to them earlier..and we just go to a friends house.

Will is sound weird/needy if I ask to hang out alone? Or how should i ask, bring it up.

Like 2-3 weeks ago she said she wished we were alone more. Last week I told her i wish we were alone more (yeah kinda stupid) and she hasnt said anything since.

How far in advance should i ask to chill alone? Oh yeah, and friday nights she's always tired from classes/sports and saturday night is usually a good night to go out and have fun and be social..and weeknights are schoolnights for us highschoolers

BTW-she IS my girlfriend of a few months but were almost ALWAYS with people...should i just ask to chill alone OR bring it up in a discusiion like we have to hang out more alone.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

just tell her to come over your house and hang out for awhile, damn

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Here's how I'd frame it....

Iw as thinking about something you said a few weeks ago... we should really spend some time together, just you and I.

Then don't say anything, let her make the next move. If she doesn't jump on this, I'd question her intentions personally. She may just be wasting your time.
