It could help. If you have a good last name or a famous persons last name even if you aren't related.

Or it could hurt depending on how infamous your last name is.

Have you ever used an alias in picking up HBs?

Yes I go by "Vin Amadeus Rockefeller." People think I'm as studly as Vin Diesel, as talented as Mozart, and as rich as the Rockefellers. Using that name I get more p*ssy than Jesus.

I actually have a last name that chicks like to say. I guess it rolls off the tongue. I've caught several in my life trying out their first name and my last together.
