I think you're right! The stereotype of the man who lives in his parent's basement and w*nks to p0rn may be the reality for many men.

I don't watch porn excessively so I can't say. I'm very careful about however I use any copes/crutches. Excessive use of something that is supposed to be a cope or crutch defeats the purpose of it. It's like taking Buckley's cough syrup when you don't have a cold.

I want to make sure that some women is to blame somewhere before I go there. Have a few rejections and give up a bit more hope after trying and failing. I like to earn these type of things.

I'd say lack of experiences with women is the leading reason men put women on pedestals. Men have been putting women on pedestals long before society's started consuming porn in mass quantities.

I suppose it effects us all differently kind of like alcohol.
