That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
I AGree with Zek here. For example, my buddy is full on red pill, like burroughs was lol, and he legit wont leave his room. He only reads forums and articles on the evil crap women do. He wont even talk to women unless its talking down to them or telling him how they are evil.zekko said:I think this is an interesting topic. I noticed this when I first came to this forum.
There are two main themes here. How to seduce women, and the attempt to wake men up so they don't get taken advantage of by women, especially in the current climate that is unfriendly to males. In other words, how not to be a chump.
IMO, one does not necessarily aid the other. It really depends on the person, as usual. The red pill can cause some men to be cynical and unemotional, or even unmotivated. Those are not necessarily attractive attributes to women.
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
lol @ the vicious cycle your friend is caught up in at the moment. I find it so funny because it reminds me so much of my first month or two immediately following my break up.JohnChops said:I AGree with Zek here. I was like this to, not to this extent, but I feel like we all went through "a woman hating phase' when we came here. It was like a step in our "awakening".
Now, we accept it, move on, and put it in the back of our minds and still go get women. I think the hardest part is enjoying women, Now knowing what they truly are. But, like I said, putting that thought in the back of your head and just simply not caring about outcomes is the way to be.
I have another friend who thinks that success in life is all about having a shredded physique, lol.Between_The_Lines said:lol @ the vicious cycle your friend is caught up in at the moment. I find it so funny because it reminds me so much of my first month or two immediately following my break up.
It becomes easier to become dismissive of outcomes the less seriously that you take them (women) - I think the key is to learn how to do this not patronizingly, or passive aggressively, but lovingly, if you will. Blue-pillers, betas, AFCs, whatever you want to call them, all have that in common - they take this dating thing and women in general way too seriously. They don't want to offend this one, they don't want to mess it up with that one, they're losing sleep trying to figure out the perfect text to send to another one, they don't want to get rejected, they're afraid of looking stupid, they need to get married etc.
Finding the countless parallels between women and children changed everything for me. It helped drain a ton of vitriol for sure, and it's made interacting with girls far more enjoyable. One of the greatest gifts the red pill has bestowed upon me personally is a greater sense of metacognition.
Poon King said:The red pill does not make you any more or less attractive to women. However, it does allow you to see through women completely. So if you're the type that has to always let people know you're on to them.. then your personality/attitude will intimidate and alienate many women.
Regardless.. if you are a true red pill man.. you won't care anyway. Women being the be all end all of life is a blue pill mindset to begin with.
The red pill man asks: What can this woman do for ME and what do I have to give up to get it?
The blue pill man asks: What can I do for this woman to make her love me forever and never leave?
