"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I've been thinking a little bit and have pretty much isolated my problem with pick ups.... once I start talking to someone, I'm good to go... but the actual opening process is what I totally suck at

is anyone else like this? or have you been like this in the past?

what kind of things did you do to get better at opening?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Yeah, you just have to bite the bullet. It seems awkward at first but once you start interacting it gets fun from there.

I can pick up, hold conversations, all that jazz, get numbers. But then, i need to call her... I got pretty much all the balls I need, it's just I have a couple problems
1. I generally don't care
2. I don't call unless I want to do something
3. No time to do stuff
4. Creativity block when it comes to dates

Probably I can approach like mad since I don't care, but I don't care enough to call, or try to organize something, and I feel kinda left out cuz of it. Oh well.

I used to have a bit of a shell keeping me in, but I popped out and I just chill with the world. I think I changed because of an overload of caring what they think, et cetera. I just switched and don't care anymore at all.

Maybe it was being so preoccupied with this and that, that time to think about reactions faded, and I just do stuff. . .

Maybe it's my new out of shell wiring as a pole vaulter: I think this is dangerous, but its cool, so let's see how it goes. I i'mprove my technique, become more confident with a pole, and move up to the next pole that's longer and stiffer, to get me higher, at which case I'm like "this could be dangerous, but it feels cool, let's see what happens."

A friend of mine used to make a huge deal out of opening. He thought he had to go in with THE perfect line/story/question-- he thought that the opener was meant to make the girl fall in love with him right there. After thinking about it he realized that the opener only does that, breaks the ice.

If you go in and the girl replies with anything other than "please leave" or just looks at you as she reaches for her pepper spray, then you are already in conversation, hence she is open to the possibility of being influenced by you. So you have nothing to worry about, other than a good followup to the opener.
