"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I think its a good trait to have, but you need to be able to connect with people, and be human sometimes.

he blew it with that Cameron chick. and she was fiiiine. :)

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Perfect sense; you're a House wannabe. Why else would you post an entire thread discussing nothing else but your alleged similarities to a fictional character with no questions or invitations for comments?

It's okay, though. After I nab my M.D. I wouldn't mind having some of House's traits too, although a lot of his methods would land a real doctor in jail or find himself in the middle of a nice, fat malpractice suit.
have you wondered why i ignored your first reply?

i don't need to ask a specific question... people who are like me realized what the problem was in the first place... there is no reason to ask questions.

please quit replying to my threads... you always bring them down.

i even said in the original posts that useless replies don't belong here... especially if theyre going to be negative... and most of your posts are negative.

If you know what I'm talking about and feeling... I'd like to know your suggestions.
It seems that everyone but you and Potbelly know what my problem is... so they understand what I'm getting at.

Like I said, I don't need to ask the question since I said for people who know what I'm talking about to reply only.

oh well i try not to put people in the ignore... but you definitely deserve it.

hopefully this thread wont be closed like one of my earlier one that you derailed and got locked.

okay "Just too smart" there i fixed it. there. that's the only thing you could find... now go to some other thread, find typos and then cry about it.

well anyway... i'm glad you got your personal lil story out even if it was a bit irrelevant, everyone likes to feel important with their opinion. OOooo! they just can't seem to hold themselves back from telling their own fun lil stories! considering you probably skimmed through and made assumptions about what i was talking about.
Well your post really was useless so I couldn't have had a clue what your point was, since you didn't have a point to begin with. You're just trying to tell everyone how you are like this TV character and engrain in your mind that you and house = same, and therefoer you inherit his qualities.

It doesn't work that way man, you actually gotta work to become someone in this world.

i'm pretty sure posting the thread title "Doctor House M.D. symptoms! Advice?" then start listing reasons why i'm like house... well i'm pretty sure it crossed my mind that i would NOT want to sound like a wannabe... because if i thought i'd blatantly sound like a wannabe, i wouldnt have posted this thread.

make sense?
No not really, and even if you didn't lie in that quote right there you did a pretty crap job of hiding it.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
