Gotta look at this like how a rich /famous man selects younger and hotter women. Women who date are literally stars in their own little orbit. Used to be different, I know. But we've seen dating change in front of our own eyes didn't we?
Dynamics have changed so much so, that I wanna bet a hundred that ..there are many ,many many relationships like these now. Women have the abundance. It is just facts. Abundance = choice= selection and eventually she can and will pick Like I said, a younger fitter man instead of a washed up senior. *shrug*
What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.
You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
