Yep.
Women are attracted to that masculine, no one can tame him stallion of a man and then turn him into her show pony. Then some time later she gets bored of the show pony and wonders where the "magic" went, and goes off to find another stallion.

no wife, no kids, living with the parents, means no rent for him, not as much nursing home time for them..... I would guess that he had plenty of money..... cars are what he liked, so he did it, no woman to tell him no.
