I was reading about the Time "Person of the Year" being the women who have finally come out and proclaimed that they have been sexually harassed (completely expected, given how huge of a wave it has been), and it got me thinking:

I think that the effect of all these complaints from women about being sexually harassed, which now seems to include a man taking a woman out on a date and feeling a teat - something I've done with pretty much any woman whom I have been sufficiently motivated enough to ask out on a 2nd date (i.e., if she shows no IOI, I don't bother with asking for) - drives all men, even the ones that are nowhere near as bold as the Harvey Weinsteins or Garrison Keilers were, just a little bit closer to the MGTOW (Men Going Their Own Way) condition. It's almost as if the only type of sexual contact that cannot get a man in trouble is one that is of the World's First Profession (e.g., prostitutes, strippers, etc.)
Now, I no longer date in the USA (i.e., only when I'm away as an expat somewhere), so American women are for all intents & purposes invisible to me, but alas, this is not the case for the vast majority of men. It seems to me that a lot more men will begin to think "what's the point", with the result of course being those same women that complained about be harassed complaining that the men around them no longer feel like "manning up". Our Mouse Utopia experiment is on the side of the decline.
