my opinion: This is the Welfare State on steroids, and there won't be anything to stop it since it will basically be free. With there not being the necessity for women of having to have a working mule to bring home the bacon, the Hypergamarchy will be in complete control. Our only hope is that we get high-functioning sexbots before this event horizon event.

We are certainly heading towards an automated society, however, government will be the last to adopt. There will be fierce blowback from the commie unions. However, in the pubic sector, it's already happening. The peope who are uneducated, lazy or feable minded will leech on to the State. The seldom few with some monocle of self-respect will work hard to give themselves and their families the best life they can.

This is a pipe dream and that article is a fluff piece that tries to make the steaming communist turd smell like flowers. We may well achieve this state someday, star trek style, but it won't be achieved by commies because the only thing they're capable of is negativity and victimhood.
