I was reading this, and it got me thinking:

Basically, the artificial womb is on the horizon
, so instead of women being able to get an abortion, they will only be allowed a disassociative procedure that puts the fetus into what is essentially a "baggie" where the fetus can continue to develop.
Currently, a woman is not forced into child support for a child that she gives up parental rights for at the time of birth; this is obviously done so as to not incentivize women into aborting. However, there is no such incentivization for the biodad, and thus I can see the State forcing the biodad to make child support payments to help pay for the orphanages that will result with all these new kids being born.
