"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

As irrational as it is, I can see how fat women shaming skinny women - who are superior rivals to these fat women when it comes to male attention - are doing this so as to hopefully get men, who as a group are naturally abhorrent of such fat women - to think of fat women as somehow better. And I suppose that the shaming helps give the sexually frustrated man a reason to go against his better instincts .

It seems to me to be similar to the shaming that older women do to men pursuing young women.

My opinion of this shaming:

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

It's all about bringing other people down to make themselves feel better...nothing new there. In general it is far more accepted to hate on, make fun, degrade thin people than fat people.

I see this in two forms. Fat women will label their skinny, attractive counterparts as stupid. Because the first stays home and reads a lot of books and has deep, contemplative thoughts and the second is out and about being romanced. However, having pseudo-intellectual conversations on the interwebs with an equally fat, inactive, electronic companion makes them sad. And overvalues their worth in the end.

Second, well-built women who show off their stuff are sluts. Even if the attractive woman in question is dressed relatively conservative, tight clothing will show off a nice ass without a disgusting cascade of fat rolls.

I don't agree with the PUA concept of negging. Women seem to do this to their own. I can't tell you how many times I've heard, "I'm too skinny/ not very bright/ too shallow/ not attractive" from gorgeous women.

Last week I had my arms wrapped around a lovely young woman who, by most men, would be considered well-built. But she didn't like her body, it was too skinny, too muscular, without doughy-fat breasts and a big jiggly butt. I would think that she didn't come to this self-depreciating opinion on her but with help from her lazy, fat "friends."

I think the reason attractive women are insecure about their bodies and appearance is that the competition is fierce. There are a lot of hot women out there with different looks - cute, sexy, beautiful, whatever. They are comparing themselves with their more attractive peers, and wondering how they stack up.

Society places a lot of "blame" for this on the media - always showcasing models and ultra thin, fit girls. But I think just seeing regular beautiful women walking around everywhere they go is enough to set off their insecurities.
