Do you think men are more conservative because we bear the brunt of cuckoldery?

I was reading an article about the upcoming election - about the "gender gap" in politics, in that women are more liberal while men are conservative - and it got me thinking that aside from the social issues of abortion availability and women's rights, that the reason for this gap has a lot to do with the great sexual dialectic of "women's baby, father's maybe". IOW, since women never have to worry about be cuckolded, they are in a position to always see a child in need as deserving of support (i.e., since typically that child is her own!), whereas men have somewhere in their consciousness that idea that they must be careful who to provision to, lest they be in the position of the cuckoldee - hence a harsher disposition towards redistribution of wealth to provide welfare for other folks, who obviously are not of their loins.

That may be part of it, although I think it's even more basic than that.
Men are raised to provide for and support themselves. Excuses aren't tolerated, sink or swim. When the going gets tough, the tough get going.
"Take care of yourself" is more of a right wing sentiment.

Women are raised to look to others to provide them with security. Since a left wing government is more likely to provide a larger safety net, that's where they tend to lean politically. Today's women don't have to look for men to provide security for them, the state can do it. Therefore they can divorce more readily. It's part of the whole "we don't need men" movement.

It's a matter of private property and since it has been men for centuries to provide goods and wealth its not mistery why its men to take more care about it.

Also men as Zekko said are not tolerated to be free riders, there are no such things about "group" in a man's world, you are what you are worth, winner takes it all.
So we can easily understand why women are more able to join groups, they prosper in the big group and in conforming to group thinking, politicians and salesmen know it well no surprise
both want women to have as much money and negotiation power in the family.

While women are more into group life, they share what they have (mostly because its given to them), no surprise women are fine with the big gov and socialism since they are one of the many gainers in it.
If you were a strong part which gain things you wouldnt be supporting any force who tries to take away to those who got it to give to those who dont.

You will also notice that women have a serious default in the concept of "merit", most of them consider perfectly fine to tax a worker to feed a scumbag and if you dare to explain what is the problem logically what you will get is some moral shaming as usual, still not sure if they behave like that because they think "its the right moral think" or because they really believe it.

Same thing with guns, they rely on external protection being them uncapable of defending themselves from strong opponents so they want you to be in the same condtion being self defence outside of their reach.
They can only engage in aggressive behaviour when they are shielde from someone, either a man or a bully government in fact most of women can wage war on a court but would never confront their annoying boss if there is no law to give them the upper hand.

Regarding sexuality, we talked enough about hypergamy and how a woman would rather be in the harem of a top dog than being the princess of a beta.

There are actually many research which show that most of women vote left while most of men vote right, its not a stereotype.

In the modern world the state is the only true alpha

the state has taken upon itself to steal power from men through armies, police, taxes, marriage laws. the state makes it possible for a husband to 'rape' his wife....lol....think about it...the state legislating laws between man and wife..this is patently absurd....but yet most men are too stupid or beta-faggotized to realize this.

as a side note to properly understand marriage it is infact a three way contract..between a man ...woman..and the state....with the state and the woman acting in concert to impoverish the man. most men don't comprehend this.

So it is no surprise that women flock to the state in all their dealings voting liberal. Women are inherently socialistic...the elite want to enact global socialism..thus feminism was born, born out of a need to corral and disempower men so that their alpha status could be transferred to the agents of the state.

In general:

Women prefer safety over freedom.
Men prefer freedom over safety.

Since a liberal governemnt's core is the philosophy of acting like big brother and taking care of everyone, providing safety, women identify with it more. I think because women identify with it more, the liberals have taken up their issues.

Unfortunatly the conservative leaning party in this country has been infected with feminist leaning religious fundamental organizations that also advocate for security over freedom.

So really, us guys are boned no matter what. Time for a new party.
