I was reading how modern women don't like to do the dishes, and it got me thinking:

It seems to me that womenfolk of earlier generations didn't get all pissy about who is doing this dishes; they would put on the apron and get to cleaning! However, today's woman seems to demand that this particular task be shared, and I think this is an avatar to how women these days just do not make proper wives.

If I have to cook and wash the dishes then I'll be eating my lunch alone and in silence, no need for a woman who demands my attention while providing nothing in return.

With the advent of the quality dishwashing machines that we have today and garbage disposals that will even eat chicken bones, any healthy woman that refuses to do them adequately is beyond lazy and/or thinks she’s a princess…
Mowing and edging the yard in the daytime heat and taking trash to the curb can be shared activities also if doing dishes qualify…
