Prosecutors said they were "frustrated" to learn recently that Holmes is due to give birth in July.

my opinion: She knew this date was coming up, and I'm sure she unprotectively sexed the sheet out of whomever her boyfriend is to try and avoid the LONG sentence that she deserves. Having a kid when one knows she will be doing a lot of hard time is the height of solipsism.

I've known several ugly females who got intentionally knocked up to avoid going on a deployment, far less lengthy than most sentences given.

Of course, that begs the question of why women join the military if they don't want to get deployed.
