I will go under the presumption that the tranny had informed her husband of her situation early in their relationship, but by then hubby had been so frustrated at finding a true woman that he decided to just stay with it, determining that trannytang still beats nothing.

However, deep down, his Y chromosome was calling out to him that this was wrong, and it culminated in his rage, killing him/her.
