Personally I much prefer a girl who I lost in some regard who then returns to me. It gives me such a high. It Also validates that I was “the man” all along. But how bout you guys?

If you dumped her there will be everlasting resentment. If she dumped you then you might as well be a puppet on a string with added loss of respect. Been there twice, both times I just told them something is gone something is missing. About two weeks in both times. But if it turns you on go for it. Four times!
