Do you have to be Black or White in order to have a lot of success in the USA?

I live in Tennessee right now and most of the guys I see who are having success going outside of their own race are Black or White.

White guys sometimes hook up with good looking asian and good looking latin girls. Black guys hook up with White girls, Asian girls, and Latin girls.

Now realizing this, I just noticed that I have never in my life seen a Asian dude with a White girl or a Latino guy go with a girl outside his own race other than maybe a Black girl.

The town I live in in Tennessee isn't that diverse so I was wondering how life is like for a Brown (latino) dude in the bigger cities. Any ideas

I don't know the answer to your question, but it brings up one of my own. When I was a young lad growing up, a lot of women were attracted to the image of the swarthy hotblooded Latin lover. It was a stereotype of sorts. I think Desi Arnez (Ricky Ricardo) on "I Love Lucy" was supposed to be an example of this, although of course he was Cuban.

But I don't hear much about the idea of the Latin lover anymore. What happened to it?

Play to your strengths, minimize your weaknesses. I've seen Hispanic guys with white girls and Asian guys with white girls. It's not super commonplace, but it happens. For Latino guys, I recommend finding a salsa club (there's a fairly large promo group in my city), that's a great way to hook up with white girls. Again, that's playing to your strengths.

Your problem seems to be the town you live in (you said it's not diverse, and I'm guessing it's small), not your ethnicity per se. Might consider moving to a larger (maybe even coastal) area.

When women think of a "Latin Lover", they imagine someone who looks Spanish, not Latin American. In other words, a Latin Lover is a white guy of Southern European descent (i.e. the tall, dark and handsome type). Most Latinos living in the U.S. are Mexican, Honduran and Puerto Rican immigrants of mestizo and mulatto descent (certainly dark, but rarely tall or handsome).

Im a black guy that lives in tennessee and its not much better for us either. The girls that arent trashy here try to be that southern belle type. My advice is to go to nashville or just out of state. Ive been in charlotte for the past week and im seeing black, asians, and hispanics with hot white girls.
