You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

There was a person in line at the checkout. Fortunately me and this HB both got in line at the same time. So, what I did was.. I cut infront of her and said
"SOrry, nnoo cuts" in a kinda serious/playful way (i mean common, it was jsut me her and the customer inline)
everyone looked at me and her and giggled when they (the checker, bagger,customer ahead of us) heard me and when they saw that Pissed of look on her face.
the b1tch just left and went to a different lane.
So, I went in the break room located on the opposite side of the bank across the store after I purchased my lunch. I was just eating then all the sudden 2 of the HB's fellow chick minions walked in the break room (which never happened before in the history of the store ever) and asked for my name.

If I was there I woulda been entertained by your actions...you demonstrated confidence, and the fact that you were not willing to let her looks impact how you treated her shows confidence and that you don't need validation, etc. I'm sure she has most guys kissing her ass, whereas you didn't do this, and made it funny at the same time. Very cool C/F approach here!
