"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Have you ever known someone that you like a lot but can never remember? As in, if you think about them, you know that you really enjoy your time with them and you have lots of good memories, but once they're gone you forget to invite them somewhere or you don't think of them when planning events? Not on purpose of course, you just forget about them for whatever reason.

I sometimes feel this way, and am quite confused. People really like me when I'm around. They come to me fore advice/help, they love hearing me make jokes or whatever, but then once I'm gone, I'm the last person they think of. I feel like I'm the person who's liked by everyone but never remembered.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

hmm i can relate to this a lot,
- possibly party because im bad at keeping in touch with people-
- its possibly a bit also due to my laid back personality - gets overshadowed by "stronger" personalities
- an im my "own" person, dont always just follow the crowd

What if those people feel the same way about you? Have you ever tried to reach out?

I know a guy who would get all bitter because nobody would call him. He'd literally sit at home, and make it a POINT to not call anybody, and wait for the calls, and seriously get upset when the calls didn't come. Really silly.

its harder to forget people now that we all have facebook. I've gotten in touch with people from elementary school - granted most of them don't really care all that much. I find most of the people who give a crap were good friends I made at college. We are still planning random trips to places.

It's probably because you're a nice guy, but don't know how to be emotionally engaging or leave any real gut-level impression on people beyond just being nice. It's like what they say, hatred isn't the opposite of love, indifference is.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
