Do you ever contact old broken plates?

Do you ever go back and contact plates that may have been broken for whatever reason if months or years have passed? Or is once-broken, always broken?

Say a women flaked on you, plate is broken. Will you never ever contact her again? What if a year has passed...would you test the waters?

I have women on my FB that I dated over a decade ago. After a decade, I'm over them. However, they're not necessarily over me. Broken plates that you're no longer infatuated with make excellent social proof.

Sure, but only if I see them in person. I met a girl who flaked (and I nexted) then I saw her in person at a mall. She said she hadn't heard from me. So I said OK let's go out. We went on one date but she was boring, so I didn't pursue.

I think it's OK as long as you don't waste a lot of time on her.
