Do you dudes use shirt stays to keep your shirt in place?

No matter what I do, my dress shirts always come up and you have that muffin top look. I've trim slim fit and super slim fit, doesn't matter, the shirt comes out of the pants. I've tried tucking in the undershirt, no good. A cop friend of mine told me about shirt stays he uses for his uniform, Anyone use these? They just look really weird, and if we're getting hot and heavy, they'd look really strange when I take my clothes off. They look like freakin garter belts.

I ordered a pair. They'll be here on Monday, so I wear them next week. They just look silly.

Garter style. The Y's look too weird. Like something out of Rocky Horror Picture Show or something.
