"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Masturbation - if you can avoid it DONT DO IT!!!!

It can become an addiction like drugs if you do it too much, it's better to let all that energy build up to help get women easier.

And there are articles to suggest that masturbating DOES NOT lower testosterone levels but infact increases them (see here: http://www.t-nation.com/readTopic.do?id=815805)

There are also mixed opinions on this but I believe it does increase testosterone levels (the t level goes down at first then increases after "recovery") a bit like sexual exercise!

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

i think that whacking off too much really spoils the desire to have sex and it takes the level down a notch when you do have sex...plus whacking off is nothing like sex itself, and is and always has been a poor substitute in my book..well, maybe not a poor substitute..it's like lite beer..or something like that..

***DO NOT JACK OFF*****

I cannot stress this enough.

True story: I approach a honey who is, in the parlance of our times, "mad fly". We converse, and I quickly obtain her phone number amid much flirting and giggling. After 5 minutes, I expose myself and begin masturbating. She instantly exits, and later fails to return any of my 79 phone calls.

I can honestly say that masturbation killed my chances with that girl.

There is a drop in testosterone immediately after orgasm, obviously. Like I said, that drop is temporary. Testosterone peaks in men every 30 minutes, with a large (tent) peak in the morning. Because this is medical information, the general patterns do not hold for all people. Let me repeat: the general patterns do not hold for all people.

Now, personally, I think abstaining from masturbation to boost one's sex appeal or keep your DJ mojo primed is stupid. If you have to rely on this gimmick to get anywhere, then you are sunk. Also, any doctor will tell you that masturbation is healthy, but like anything, it should be done in moderation. Abstain long enough and you'll be changing your sheets about once a week. Duh.

...And that's all I have to say about this topic.

I have mixed thoughts on this. I have done both it ways. I have done it everyday in the week and also went about 2 weeks at a time without doing it.

Now they both have advantages and disadvantages.

Not doing it will get you bigger boners and harder more frequently and it would be good in bed for a little while but you orgasm much quicker.

Doing it will let you last longer with a chick in bed and also is reduces prostate cancer by 25%.

Do whatever suits you but don't go too long without it and don't do it too much.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I agree. Besides if jacking off really does cut down your libido enough so that you don't feel like going after chicks, then you don't have much of a libido lol.

I think it depends on your age. When I was a teenager I could jack off and be ready to go another round 15 minutes later. Nowadays I feel lethargic and hungry after I stroke it.

There's no biological effect (other than that slump immediately afterward), but there's a psychological one, I think. You'll feel that you can get relief without much effort, and that will make you a little less inclined to go out there and find a gal to boink. If there are already hindrances, like time and looking for wingmen, this may be the deciding factor.

Also, if you watch too much porn and eventually become blind to it - now that's an empty feeling you get then. Imagine that you see this great female body in the right position for such a body to be in, and it still doesn't make you aroused. That's when you know you need to stop jacking off so much.

I know from how the endrocine system works that when a man masturbates, it purges lots of testosterone from the body, and releases feel good endorphines in the brain. The endorphines are like a drug, and addiction can occour. Besides that, the loss in testosterone grealty effects your confidence and self esteem when its levels drop so drastically. So, the next time you want to pet the one eyed snake, keep yourself from it. The more you refrain from doing so, the easier it will get. The more testosterone you have, the more masculine, strong, and confident you will feel! See how many days, weeks, months you can go!

Not looking at pornography also can help you keep your testosterone levels up.

For people who are sexually active, if you do this, your sex life will be better.
So, you are saying not to have sex either?

The way I personally look at it...this is like a pipe. It rust if you give it little use. Now, I'm not talking about masturbation. I'm talking about actual sex.

Why men look more "masculine" (but do they?) when they go months or years without having sex? Because they are pissed off and angry!

I think thats the answer. Guys get more and more frustrated the longer they have to go without sex. I'm still a virgin, and alot of times I think my sexual frustration makes me more jumpy and aggressive than I would be otherwise. I guess that energy has to be expressed in some way and if you aren't screwing than you find other outlets.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

MY reality
Don't do it. By whacking it to some chick, you are essentially putting her up on a pedestal every time you do it. Not to mention it drains you of your energy. Seriously, limit it to once a week, max. Any more than that, and it has an effect similar to smoking pot every day. It just makes you lazy and unmotivated.

Actually having sex on the other hand, gives you more energy, it doesn't drain you. So **** a girl, not yourself.

Don't believe me? Go over to the 21 day thread...I'm only on Day 5 and I can already notice the difference.

I have a friend whose dad's doctor wrote on a prescription pad: regular masturbation to prevent prostate cancer. Releasing that **** is important...

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

nicely said, when i started jacking off i did find my testostrone purged, and i no longer to seek perfection and ambition, i became lazy and unfruitfull, and i did not want to do my schoolworks, etc. So listen to this guy, he is correct 100%.
You could pet the one eyed snake, just make sure that you dont ejaculate or get close to the point of ejaculation.

The idea that masturbation itself causes reduced libido, lack of sexual desire, or lack of performance is a myth, like masturbation will make you go blind or grow hair on your palms.

However, it can be obsession or an addiction, which is why it does reduce those things for some people, just the same as any other addiction does. It isn't that masturbation causes it, it is just that many addictions tend to cause a loss of libido, sexual desire, or performance.

Anecdotal evidence is meaningless. I don't have any interest in flirting with women right after I mow the lawn. That doesn't mean that mowing the lawn causes a lack of sexual desire on my part. It means I don't want to talk to women after I have been out in the sun a couple hours sweating, and I would rather take a shower and get something to eat instead.

Basically, if you are the type of person that really does need to go to at least some effort to stop masturbating or reduce it, then odds are you have some sort of obsession or addiction with it, which means you probably would be having these sorts of addiction effects, so it probably would be a good idea. If you are the type of person that can read this and just decide not to do it anymore and think nothing of it, then odds are you probably won't have the addiction effects in the first place.

Scenario: Jonny mastubates twice in one day, within a six hour timespan. The first time was very intense and equally enjoyable. But the second time was much less intense as it was enjoyable. He took longer to cúm, and when he did, it was less than when he did the first time.

This is a scenario to which we can all relate. But WHY was jonny's second time less intense/enjoyable? Was it a physical change, or was it all in little jonny's head (psychological)? Either way has a profound effect that fits a solidly consistant patten.

Could controlled/Intensified sexual energy give you that egde? I'm leaning towards yes.

Science complicates shít, self-analyse your own sexual temperament and how it plays out on your game.
