Caldus
Senior Don Juan
I wonder if Cherry really is a guy myself...
She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.
You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.
The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

the man is always the one in power. When he isn't she leaves and finds another. simple fact of life.Originally posted by Engetsu
I wouldn't want a submissive woman such as Cherry. In a relationship, the power needs to be balanced, or else it gets to the power-holder's head and the flame that keeps the relationship alive slowly dies out.
Touching story, by the way, but I'm having my doubts on its truthfulness...
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

It's simply an illogical fallacy.
Just because "Julie" or one person does it, doesn't mean we all do...
Ah...the education must continue, I see...
(Haha...guys are just as guilty by being so called "zipperdropper" 's...
And that's not just to use the commode or mag...)

Never say that to a woman, but always apply it.Originally posted by 00Kevin

a man doesn't have to say it. He doesn't have to try be the one in control he just naturally is the one in control.Originally posted by Engetsu

We know that we need a man more than a man needs us. We need your protection, your strength and your logical brains.

So "nice girls" have different brains than "dirty girls"??Originally posted by eniktin
Yea, nice girls will want to wait because they are biologically programmed to go slow, so that they can screen out weak partners, and find one who is potentially a comitted parent. Remember, if she is slow with you, she wouldn't be bedhopping with other guys when you two get married. On a conscious level, it shows she has principles, probably due to a religion -- Integrity. Would a confident man make ultimatums about sex? I don't think so. The woman has to ask you for sex.

Most girls act nice and most try to avoid the slut label (the girl I met and made out with in the club last weekend said she "never does this." The girl I fvcked on the second "date" said she is "not promiscuous and is a relationship girl"). So how can you know whether a girl is "nice" or not?
Her actions?? So she goes slow with you. How do you know she didn't give it up fast with another dude or isn't doing that WHILE with you?? How are so sure that she is consistent and treats you the same as other dudes??
I think it makes more sense that if a girl is going slow with you, she is not sufficiently gamed/turned on and/or she is trying to train you to be her committed partner.
Who knows what they really think though.
