As a man, the only two tests you'll ever need:

1) Make her invest effort, time and her own money (as mentioned by PairPlus).

2) Pass the tests she gives you, because by passing, her test backfires and she has to make her decision.

Good point. We tend to test their compliance and willingness to invest in us, while they (supposedly) test us more for our manliness and value.
