Anyone have hands on experience with fatloss supplements? Anyone had any noticeable results? In other words, do you recommend them? Thnx.
Yes, yes and hell no I would not recommend them. They are very harsh on the body and the nervous system. If you're not strong like a bull, you will suffer an adrenal burnout/fatigue and ensuing depression after. Stimulants will do that to you. They will stress the hell out of your body and you better be prepared to deal with the effects. Losing weight is already stressful, adding stims on top of that makes it a special kind of stress.
I'm still recovering right now from that ****. Never again. If you want to lose weight fast then clean up your diet a little bit. No flour and no sugar, corn syrup or any other sweet **** containing fructose. Fruit is very acceptable because it's natural (and has fiber, vitamins, minerals), even though it naturally contains fructose.
Why is fructose bad? Because it ****s with your hunger response. Your body doesn't know when it's satisfied so you tend to eat more until you physically feel full. You can supplement with glucose and make your own sweets if you're good at cooking. Pure glucose powder. It's very sweet and unlike fructose it doesn't **** with your body. It's also cheap but hard to find the really pure stuff.
Cutting out flour also reduces your carbohydrate intake significantly. Flour is very energy dense because it's so processed. Very little fibre and roughage which not only makes you feel fuller, slows down the digestion and levels out your insulin response. You will no longer have peaks of energy spikes and dips of insatiable hunger from volatile insulin levels.
Try these changes and you will see a difference not only in how you feel but how you will look. Feel free to increase your protein and fats to compensate for the loss of carbs, also make sure to eat your veggies.

I have my own supplement company and personally have used all of the products I have on there so far, and me and my 2 partners (brother and cousin) have all been working out our entire adult lives and my brother was a trainer for 5 years. There ARE products that do work, and those are the only products that we sell.
Of course they work. They're stimulants. They will **** you up. Ever drink too much coffee? Or too many energy drinks? I hope you like that weird feeling and ensuing lack of appetite and crash at the end of the day. In my opinion it's not worth it. It puts so much stress on you mentally and physically that you could be doing something useful... like running an extra mile everyday. I've done both and it feels so much easier to do extra exercise and you get something out of it. Extra muscle and endurance. Stims don't do that. They just run your metabolism and your nervous system on overdrive for awhile.
You want to also follow proper diet (eat every 2 - 3 hours) and work out, and get your rest as well (muscles need rest to grow), so you do all of that are you are much more likely to accomplish your goals.
You can very easily lose weight on as little as two meals per day. It depends on what the meals contain and how fast your body digests the food. The slower the digestion the less often you need to eat. Some people (most people) cannot digest a meal every 2 hours. It's retarded. The stomach doesn't even empty for 3 or 4 hours for a heavy meals containing meats. If you dump more food before the previous meal has finished digesting in your stomach it leads to fermentation and then indigestion. Bad idea.
