Do attractive women fish for compliments ALL the time?

I recently expanded my Facebook to include people who weren't family. (I normally wouldn't have even had a profile, but my extended family all lives on the other side of the country and I hardly ever see them.)

Added quite a few attractive female friends. one that I work updates her status at least 5 times a day. It tends to be compliment fishing.

yesterday's? "I have calloused hands. Mom *****ed at me yesterday and said 'get a manicure, no man will want to hold rough hands like that'. Cue at least 5 betas - within 10 minutes, her wall fills up with posts like "hey, I've got no problem with calloused hands" and "your mom doesn't realize there's such a thing as inner beauty".

the other day she posted a status - a picture of three very, very stacked Hooters girls, all blonde. she wrote as a caption, "I'm sorry I don't look like this, men. We can't all be model quality hot." about 13 likes - all from men.

here's why I bring this up. this girl is *absolutely* gorgeous. Conventionally, no - she's a bit taller than most girls, has oddly long fingers, and has a slightly husky voice. (she's also got a bit of a scary obsession with World War II era Nazi Germany, but whatever.)

oddities aside? every coworker that I've mentioned this girl to has wanted to screw her every which way. I'd say that on days she doesn't try, she's an HB 8. On days she tries? an easy 9.

Do hot women always do this? and why?

I don't think it's a trend among hot women, but rather any woman with self-esteem issues, the only difference is the hot women know (to some extent at least) that men will flock to tell her she's pretty and sexy and wonderful while some fat whale isn't going to have the same luck.

I see it on Facebook all the time. This girl I went to high school with (had sex when she was 12, never single for more than a few weeks at a time since then, attractive with ****ed up teeth) constantly posts about how she didn't fit in and was an outsider in high school or how she is unhappy with herself. Cue 10,30,50, even 70 or more likes on the statuses, and dozens of comments / compliments from beta orbiters. She was always skinny but recently got into lifting weights and thinks she's a bodybuilder now (5' tall maybe 110 lol) and she'll always post photos of her "progress" when she does leg day about how she worked out her booty. The photos are ridiculous and she looks like she has spine problems because of how much she arches her back to stick her butt out, but the orbiters blow it up about how big her ass is and how amazing she looks.

Some women just have terrible self-esteem, and they literally thrive off of these meaningless compliments from men they will never get with, but just knowing that they are drooling over them gets them off and gives them some sick pleasure.

I typically respond that she's lifting wrong and purposely try to negate anything she posts and she typically deletes my comments, the whole status, or posts a new one about people who know how to get under her skin lol.

Ask yourself this next time you see a hot girl. Am I going to say the same crap that every other guy probably has (compliment her on her looks) or am I going to be different and stand out and say something different. Being different gets you remembered.

EXACTLY. Instead of the usual ass licking crap - "Wow you are smoking hot" turn it to - "You're not too bad, I guess..." The former tells her she is too good for you; the latter doesn't. Make her feel the need to prove herself to YOU. Never brown nose a women. :box:

Like all women, she has low self-esteem. She thinks those women are hotter than her (whether true or not) and she needed validation. Just ignore this and don't feed with any compliments.

Do you have this girl's number? Just get it, call her, ask her out, if no go, then move onto the next.
