"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

An air of mystery so we respond eh? I've got a myspace, but it is rank, I hate internet dating, so many posers, and as usual a load of drivel which is all planned before hand...

sure pictures galore of hot chicks, but really unless you put the work in and hence time, you won't get anywhere... I'd rather grow in reality, and if somebody wants to make a fan site, go right ahead....

Give me your address, than I will give you mine.

Really... I've not been around all too often in recent times, in fact I've only set my My Space page up in the past month...

And yea... I know a bunch of people who go on MySpace, find a bunch of hot girls on there and just request them to be added... I'm not really lookin to do that, just use it as a small DJ networking thing, especially if it turns out that there's some in your locality... you get no kudos from me for meeting girls on the net, lol... I mean the only girl content on mine is in my selection of photos...

You'd be proud of my last myspace pickup, the one I did right before I deleted my account for sake of not wanting to waste my time with it anymore.

I saw her on one of my friend's pages, and her profile happened to say she was in another town going to school, but there was something on her page that really caught my eye so I figured I'd talk to her anyway. We got along great, and she mentioned meeting, but I told her that I don't meet people of MySpace, and that if we weren't meant to be friends we'd run into each other sometime.

Much to my surprise, I bumped into her last night. She was delighted to give me her number, and damn if I wasn't surprised. I didn't even think she'd be in the same town, let alone the same place.

My roommate does most of his meeting girls on the net, and to be honest he gets it more than anybody else in the house. I'd have to say he's a certified MySpace pimp. I have little interest in doing that though.

I think if you could succeed you are a DJ, b/c it's hard to get girls on that thing (imo atleast).

I don't see why you can't mack in real life and online at the same time. As long as u're not some punk that's too chicken to mack to real girls and must hide behind a computer, i don't see the problem.

Time and effort...

Lets weigh it up... a night in a club with some friends or running solo in the day time... spin a few DJ skills and you could be going home with that girl.... or you take a number then call and you're on a date with her within the week...

Online... days of logging on... sending messages, e-mails etc etc... *yawn*... and hey you'll probably just end up friends because she has a real man that she's ****in...

I dunno... if you're someone who's confined to a PC in a 9 - 5 then maybe between those hours its cool... but even then, I'd prefer building with the people around me, get closer with those women and become pals with the guys who you then go out with and run with the first paragraph..

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

More like minutes. It takes seconds to browse and add hot women. Less than a minute for each email. You only need to send a few emails before you ask for their phone number. From that point on, the game is the same as if you got her number in the field.

RE:

Ive picked up so many women off of that site its nuts. Anyone that thinks you cant be a ladies man and use MySpace is just lazy because its still all a numbers game. Usually if a single girl is on a social networking site then she's looking for something to fill a void. Ive had alot of flops on that site too but still 2 out of every 5 girls on there is usually down for something fun or interesting. You just have to know how to make it work

I have one.

However, I've never really considered it a good way to meet people. Except for the random person who wants me to add them, most of my "friends" are people I've actually met.

Granted, if someone wants to talk and I can spare the time, I don't mind. But I hardly consider it to be the primary way to meet people.

So far, I've never met anyone in real life where it's through Myspace I first contacted them. But I doubt that it's impossible. I've never tried it so who am I to judge?

I can pick up girls just fine in real life.

Using the the internet as a means of picking up girls is just another tool to seduction.

You don't need to waste a whole lot of time online. For instance. I'm on the computer about an hour a day unless I'm not doing work.

During that time I'm on MSN, looking at different sites and throwing out short little things on Myspace or Hi5. It is really easy for a lazy Dj to get a hook up over the net. The main reason is it is a great way just to practice talking to girls without having to worry about Body language and eye contact, among other things.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Ok fine...

You find the girl of your dreams on Myspace.com, she has a perfect body, perfect face, perfect job and cool personality.

Then you go to meet up with her... and she walks with a weird a$$ limp. Now what's up?

My point being, it's hard to judge a girl's looks and your overall attraction to someone you meet on a computer. If you see any girl in person you'd know in 5 seconds whether she is good enough for you or not. On Myspace, there are too many variables in play and successful pick-ups can't be determined until you see the chick.

I'm sure you can find a solid chick on there, but there are too many ugly girls with good pics on the internet that you are really rolling the dice.

If shes ugly, turn around and leave. Im sure people are smart enough to make some sh*t up so they dont have to stay.
