I'll be visiting a couple of large cities in the south for a few days each next month. Any suggestions for strategy? One city is New Orleans and I'll be within strolling distance of the Quarter. Should I focus on women who are tourists or try to focus on locals? Groups or single targets? My schedule is my own but I'll be free at lunch and after 4:00. Should I look for local's haunts or touristy bars/clubs...

poster_guy I'm glad you posted this because I was about to start a thread on it. I have several business trips planned over the next year and was wondering if anyone here is experienced at picking up women on a very limited time frame with limited options for straying from the hotel.

My guess is that women who are staying in your hotel alone are your best bet, if you can manage to meet them at a bar or restaurant that's within walking distance of the hotel. I'm also guessing that there is some sort of hookup protocol for frequent business travellers that I'm not in tune with from lack of experience.

Call ahead or do a web search on good places to meet women. Always pick hotels with a good bar/restaurant. Always pick hotels clustered in decent areas you can walk, and try to find a dense area where there are several attractions and other hotels with bars within walking distance.

I have not had as much luck with local hangouts as everyone seems to know everyone and its harder to break in. Unless you’ve practiced openings with groups it is harder.

Be clear with what you want. Your objective is to F-close, not number-close. Big difference in approach. Don’t waste your time getting hung up on any ONE target, be efficient.

This is all about speed seduction. You have a limited window of time and must build attraction, rapport/comfort and then sexual comfort extremely quick. It is simple if you know how to do each of those areas. You just speed of the steps from one stone to the next as Carlos Xuma might put it.

I think it comes down to having all three of: opportunity, skill, and superior logistics. And actually, logistics is probably the part that is the deal-breaker. Of course the same thing could be said of landing chicks in your hometown. It's always the friends' agendas, the lack of easy transportation when out drinking, etc that kills off a same-night hookup. Trust that this will be a good experience for her has to outweigh inconvenience and it's hard to build that level of trust the first time you meet, so I think the secret is to remove the inconveniences.

On the business trip though I see logistics as being the biggest hurdle because there's typically such a tight schedule you're on. Both parties need to be cool with the understanding that this is a very short-term relationship.

Hotel bars are ok, but generally most other business travelers travel with their coworkers so hooking up must be done very discretely especially for married women looking for a fling.

If the place you are visiting is a tourist trap, try to book your hotel near their big attractions and or downtown. Focus on vacationers, they are always the easiest lays.

Don't be afraid to be a bit more bold with them too. Talking about how amazing it is to meet someone and just have a good feeling about them is a good riff to build on.
