"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

You're discussing two completely different things. One hand you talk about being content. I myself can never be content with what I have. I always want more. More money, more women.. it's an endless cycle I know but that's who I am.

Now to be happy is a state of mind. I am happy since I feel healthy and that in itself gives me a chance at anything. I always have a positive demeanor and that will probably be the same regardless of my position in life.

I can relate.

In the past 2 months I've slept with 2 old girl friends... I mean, since I began the DJ thing 2-3 years ago I began losing my drive to befriend women, that, and I moved away... But yous 'em again and you find your charm always kicks in, and you remember that you did like them in your AFC days, so you fvck and chuck cause you realize you just had sex with an old friend whom you are not interested in pursuing romantically...

As for being truly happy... I'm at University studying in an area that I am very interested in, and I hope to go on to a masters degree... and maybe be able to do something with my education that will have a positive effect on society... and make a fortune in the process... While i'm doing all that, I hope I can find a super hot, intelligent, down to earth, charming, and faithful chick to do my laundry, cook my dinner, have my babies, empty the trash, and sleep with me regularly.

And if I'm not happy with all that.. I'm probably chemically imbalanced, in which case I'm sure theres a pill that can help...

I think that path to doing something "GREAT" is leadership - You can learn all you want about the worlds problems, but if you can't convince, or lead anyone, then you're just another critic. Personally, leadership is what I'm focusing on now - And I'm finding it has a lot to do with charm, so we're on the right track.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Personally, I think you may need to adjust your premise a little. Here's a couple of thing to consider; first I think you are confusing leadership with management. A leader has willing followers. Convincing someone to be a follower isn't typically done by leaders but is usually done by managers. Leaders state their goal and inspire fellowship by their actions generating a willing following.

Managers tend to need to constantly convince, motivate and pull along their following (imagine a puppy on a leash). Being charming helps but then you are focusing on the strength of the emotional state you are emoting in the people. Emotions change with the wind and if all that you have is an emotional following, you will need to constantly juggle their changing emotions which detracts from the effort you are giving to your actual goal.

Given that, here's the second thing to consider. Should you really base your goals on the actions of others? This is like saying you have a goal of finding a woman that will make you happy. It's akin to giving away your control to the extent that you will be just fine as long as they hold up their end of the bargain.

Your father has a point about people generally always want something. The real question is what do people usually want and how do they go about achieving it. Is what they want something that they truly have control over or is it dependent on some other source. Knowing that, which are more likely obtainable?

Just something to consider.
