Senior Don Juan
hmm yeah. maybe it would help to pretend these hot girls are dressed in loose jeans and a sweatshirt, and then talk to them
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
You're right, I haven't done the conversations. I have been so bogged down in school work that I've been pvssing out. School gets out for me next week and there will be no more excuses. There is a big festival in my area this weekend and I'm going to get going on my conversations.Anyway, Tukzulu - go out and get those rejections! I can only hope that the others follow suit. I have a feeling that this is where many people stop, because it is a bit harder to get a phone number than just start a conversation. It didn't seem to me like most people even got completed their conversations, for that matter. Anyway, the week 4 thread will still be around for anybody who feels the need to repeat, and I'll offer my support, but I'm going to keep going forward with the bootcamp
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
I can't really go on to week 5 yet because I don't have any numbers. So I may be stuck in week 4 limbo for at least another week.Originally posted by BrotherAP
I'm not repeating any week. It's not my fault if girls don't reject me!![]()
There's still time! You're a DJ - and you're still in the game. Go get some phone numbers - that's a command!Originally posted by Tukzulu

I plan to, but its probably going to take some time. And I still want to get 10 rejections. Haha. Weird goal, I know, but I think fear of rejection is one of my major sticking points, so I really need to get over that.Originally posted by BrotherAP

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
