"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I am coming off of a divorce and have 2 kids.. I pay quite a bit of child support, and I am surviving but don't have much extra money.. My dating/sex life hasn't been to terrible, but the quality just isn't where I want it. I have been trying some things out that I have been reading and have ran into a few problems.. First, I have my kids %50 of the time so my dating and interaction time is cut in half.. I don't bring any girls around my kids and don't intend to unless I meet someone very special, and then it may take quite some time.. Also, I go a few weeks doing fairly well getting numbers and dates then I either can't afford to go on them or don't have enough time.. I have tried cheap things or moneyless dates, but it doesn't work everytime..

Is anyone else in the same boat, or been through it and have any suggestions?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

My divorce was final a year ago and it took some vast changes to my lifestyle as I had lived it but brother, IT WAS WORTH IT! You have to make the decision to change and not live a life of mediocrity.

I have an eleven year old daughter with whom I am still very much a part of her daily life. There is life after divorce. The choice you make is whether or not to sac up and live it.

I am going on with my life, and probably am having the hardest trouble changing lifestyles.. Still, with my life needing to go on so does my social and sexual life.. I guess I am looking for anyone with any suggestions on how they managed to date on a budget. Especially while trying to have many opportunities.. Often times it seems like I am going out on dates 2 or 3 times a week with different girls and I can't afford it.. So, I have stopped.. Now I am wondering where to start again. I know I don't have to go out and spend a lot of money, but lots of times I do.
