"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

i have ran into some problems with some hb babe bartenders. one is a hb 8.5 and one is a 8. well the 8.5 has been showing some disrespect lately. for example a few days ago the hb8 was leaving cause her shift was over and she was talking to hb8.5 saying some really disrespectul stuff about me (i was maybe 15 ft away shooting pool). they were being rude and calling me gay and saying (disrespectful) stuff about my personal life. this was not teaseing this was hating and some disrespectful stuff. this is not the first time i had this problem with these two bartenders. a while back hb 8 said i was sloppy and was laughing at me (she got some guys to say i was sloppy and laughing at me too), but she said it while i was leaving the bar and i pretended like i did not hear it at all. well later on when the hb 8 left the hb. 8.5 is telling people how i like her. wtf? all i did was order my beer and she asked me one question which i ansewered and then shoot pool and then talked to a lot of people in the bar. i usually do not talk to bartender hb's that much because (i will chat a little with them here and there) because i make it a priotity not to hit on bartenders because i don't want bad social proof, well it looks like she has already spread bad social proof on me, she may even really not like me or something.

anyways, later on in the nite (a couple days ago), since the hb 8.5 disrespected me earlier on that nite i negged the hell out of her when i got the opportunity. i also teased her. i teased saying she can't flirt with this guy (guy next to me) he is married and so are u. shame on you. she did laugh a little. then i negged her on her hair and said her hair looks dyed, it does not look natural. she lowered her voice cause this effected her. then i negged (maybe insulted) i told her that your face is too light and you need to use facial toner to make it darker. later on in the nite she got caught up in one of my conversation(the conversation was "does love exist?, i said it did not)she then asked my age and i told her who i dated, i said i only date 20 and 21 year olds (this disqualifies her she is 23 or something). she asked why? i said their more fun, she said don't you want a real relationship (as she was walking off to serve aother customor), i was answering her but i stopped (answering) cause she was walking off, i then continued the conversaration with the guy next to me. 20 minutes later she is mentioning to some dude how i like her, when i have never ever attempted to game her.

there is another bartender at another bar, she refuses to serve me drinks or acknowledge me. the first time i saw her she reused to sereve me. wtf? and she continues this behavior, the thing is i don't know this bartender and i never met her before.

i got this vibe that hb 8.5 really does not like me and she may pull something on me. i don't trust her.

what do you guys think i should do? how do you guys deal with disrespectful bartenders? the bars i see these bartenders at are bars i go to frequently.

all comments welcomed!

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Maybe you should consider going to other bars. Sounds like you have a pretty bad rep among the staff or something along those lines.

One thing I could think of is that maybe you are a horrible tipper. Not tipping is a quick and easy way to get bartenders to not like you.

No offense, but do you not think that you just flat out insulted her? Deep down all women are exceptionally vain, and by negging her hair, then her face, you probably pissed her off quite a bit. And by not serving you the other bartenders sound pretty unprofessional. Dont leave the bar because you are scared that they dont like you, leave it, if you must, because of this. You go where you want!

the bartender who won't serve me works at another bar. the hb 8.5 does serve me. im not afraid of them, just dont trust her are what she might do (e.g. vandilze my car, call the cops if i had to musch to drink so i could get dui, etc.). i plan on going back to the bar but im going to wait a cuple of weeks before i do. i do admit when i tease (playfully) i may go a little bit too far at times.

what do you mean leave the bar because of this? can you be more specific in what your saying. are you referring to them not serving drinks; at this bar they do serve me drinks. at the tweaker/druggy bar one bartender will not serve me drinks and i never spoken one word to her (expect asking for a drink) or her to me. actually i saw that same bartender who w'ont serve at another bar a week ago, i totally ignored her and got some social proof. and she looked at me when i walked to the bathrooom, but i did not look at her at all.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
