"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

One of my good friends last night touched my girlfriend's thigh right in front of me when he was piss drunk. It really irritated me should I call him up and let him know?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

No - you should have confronted him then and there - what did your girlfriend think of:
1: Your friend touching her thigh?
2: You not reacting?

And what do you think about your GIRLFRIEND?

You shouldn't have to call him, it should be ****ing obvious - he should have called you and apologized allready.

It's a state of mind, don't take **** from anyone - friends, girls, boss at job - whatever...

I know I should've but I was kind of drunk too and I'm bad at confronting people but I'm not a complete pyssy. I usually don't put up with shyt but it just caught me off card because it's one of my really good friends. Should I let him know what he did though?

Alcohol can sometimes bring out the true intentions of a person, which means he was prob always into her, but was afraid of you finding out. Since he was drunk, he wasnt thinking straight and made a move on your girl. Yes you should have confronted him right there, but since you didnt call him right now and do it.
What did your girl do when he did it?

You need to establish dominance with both your friends and your girls - now I'm not talking about manipulating or being an *******, just be a person who respects himself and do not take anybodies BS.

**** like this just shouldn't happen and when it does you really need to step up or it will keep happening...

You need to realize that he's going to blame it on the beer/liquor, regardless of his intentions, in other words you won't get the truth. If you feel that strongly about it, call him, let him know the deal, but don't come across like a hurt little puppy. Be confident and to the point.

Here's a question that may throw you for a loop. Did your 'girlfriend' do anything to bring on that type of move from him? Was she flirting with him, maybe stealing secret glances when you weren't looking? How did she react to his touch? Something to think about...

The thing was we were fighting basically the entire night. I do notice her being slightly flirty with some of my friends. I don't know if I'm being paranoid or what. How do I bring up the issue without coming across insecure.

I already called him and he apologized. I was quick and to the point. I said along the lines "You were groping my girlfriend's leg last night, I didn't confront you last night about it because you were piss drunk. I would expect that behavior from a random guy but not from one of my good friends." He said something like "Come on you know me I wouldn't try anything." and I said "It's not an issue of me worrying about something happening it's an issue of disrespect." and he said he was sorry about it. He sounded genuine but I could also here the slight hint of "damn I was caught" in his voice. Since I didn't react right then and there last night has my dominance gone down in her eyes? Should I let her know that I took care of the issue?

I dont know what to tell ya man.
Butttt if it was me, and my 'friend' disrespected me like that, it would be over, and if my girl was flirting with others meaning she wanted that touch she would be gone too.

Thats just me, I say you go with your instincts though.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I'm not scared of my girlfriend if that's what your implying. I don't want to come across as an insecure control freak who doesn't let her talk to other guys.

Just run his posts through babelfish a couple of times and you'll come out with something a bit more coherent:

Don't they LEAVE THEMSELVES ME SO to RECEIVING DIZ STRAIGHT..U WERENT FEARFULLY APPROXIMATION 2, which a WESENWHO U a GOOD FIGHT 1 AND 1 HAND FIGHT IN the HAND2 SUPPOSED GIVING COULD DO, BUT U R AENGSTLICH2 APPROACHING a WESENWHO IZ SMALLER ONE CAVE U, WEAKER ONE CAVE U, SLOWER ONE CAVE U, AND HAZ LEZZ EMOTIONAL ONES TAX CAVE And U C SOMEWHAT WRONG WITH DIZ ILLUSTRATION?

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

If she's being 'slightly flirty' with your friends don't sweat it bro. Girls are very insecure and need constant attention. She enjoys the boost her ego experiences when flirting, so she does it with people who are 'safe', your friends. And as long as it's nothing crazy, who cares. If anything, you'll receive some good $ex from it because she'll be feeling confident and $exy about herself. She might be testing you also, to see how you react. So watch how you respond.

Now, if it's to the point that you are 'uncomfortable', then you need to bring it up. Tell her she needs to chill out because guys will start to get the wrong impression, they'll think they have a shot. Then you say, 'unless of course you are interested in him (whoever you are talking about), if so let me know so i can step aside'. See that? That's a confident, secure..'i don't need you' attitude, girls trip over themselves over a guy like that.

Good job with your friend, well put. But, keep an eye on him, that's a shady move right there. Keep your distance from him, he now has 1 Red Flag hanging out of his a$$.

Don't ruin a friendship over a girl, all he did was touch her thigh not like he full montyed her. He was drunk and your girl is probably hot so he touched your girl thigh. If anything you can just tell him how when he was drunk he was hitting on your girl and just tell him to chill because yall are friends and he shouldn't be doing that.

hey man i recently went through this and i said pretty much the exact same thing. I said to her "hey, you talk about that guy ___ a lot. now are you interested in him? because if you are, i'm going to persue someone else." to which she said "what??? no, me and him are just friends." and i was fine. BUT then i asked her to hang out with me today, and she fvcking flaked out on me. so i still don't see how this will even make any difference anyways to a girl who doesn't give enough shyt.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
