"Did you just touch my ass?"

I was getting lunch, and I noticed one the girls that I've had an eye on right behind me, so I stole a move from David D. and backed up a little into her, and looked back and said "did you just touch my ass"?

She was bewildered, but quickly said "my hands are up here!" and showed me her hands.

This was last week.

Today [Monday 9/17/07] in gym (We have class together now, today was my first day in her class) I brought it up and she said "It's not my fault you're imagining things". I didn't know how to reply to this so I just smiled.

If she says "It's not my fault you're imagining things" again, what would be a good reply to that?

Also, since I'm here, can someone recommend a few interesting things I should do or say to her to build up more attraction? There's alot of competition in gym, all the guys already tease and mess with her, I want to be a little different. We usually play volleyball or basketball. Sometimes they play something where you have the option of sitting out on the bleachers, and sometimes she sits near me.

She's a cheerleader. I believe she's taken by a football player, but I'm not sure. I saw them holding hands earlier, and a day before I saw that I heard a bunch of guys tease her about some guy not making a move on her or something. Maybe it's the same guy.

Good thing to know is that she's not the only one I'm interested in, but she's the biggest challenge.

I think a good start would be by asking her for her name, and then doing this tip on her. See where that takes me.

It's a crutch, and I'm still at the level where I need them until I can walk on my own, know what I mean?

Hey openers are good but really focus on the tone you present it in and your eye contact thats more than half of it, that is bound to make her laugh if it doesnt sound canned and you keep your presence, and hey, you dont have to always out-wit the girl...

umm Why would she say that again? lol... She won't ever have to say that again, because you're not gonna bring up the ass thing anymore got it? good.

stop going the whole ass touching route and start chatting her up. And chat up some of her friends too... and then chat up 30 other female classmates and a few cool guys. then chat up some girls in the hall... chat up a really hot chick and then break off from her to go make friends with a nerd that gets picked on... you're in high school, one day you will realize what an EASY opportunity you're sitting on.

but anyhow I would've said something like...

"My imagination is dirtier than that" ...or... "Actually it was you're fault that I was imagining things... You seem like a mischievous girl, you were probably putting me under some sort of mind control spell...Oh great i'm imagining more stuff, get out of my head!" ... I could easily keep playing with her like that, after finding out her name and then chatting a bit I would say something like "This is weird I want to keep finding out more about you... Are you doing more mind control on me?"
I don't know, just be creative and have fun. But let her know you are mature in between your witty outbursts.
