Me: I'm good friends with the creator of POF. He gives me special privileges. What you up to?

Me: Yup. An anti-climax after last night though. (Germany thrashed Brazil 7-1) Where in (City) are you based?
Her: Haha I know. Poor Brazil. I live in (Name of town) You?
Me: That confirms it. You're definitely Greek Cypriot then. (Where she lives is densely populated by Cypriots). Let's get together sometime and see if any sparks fly.

Never heard from her after that. People never quite know what race I am until I tell them. Do you think this is what it was?

I'm half white. I could easily get away with looking Hispanic. I'm quite the chameleon in that sense. I can fit in quite comfortably with Spanish, Greek, Italians, Middle Eastern etc. Ironically when I was in India last I stood out like a sore thumb. Everyone was staring like I was an alien.

They confuse race with ethnicity and when they say that dumb :moon: sh*t, it makes about as much sense as a person of European ancestry saying, "I'm French and white." Or somebody from Asian saying, "I'm Japanese and Asian." This further perpetuated by the fact that on Univision and Telemundo, (unless baseball, futbol, or music videos are on,) there isn't a murano to be found, not only that the "paper bag test," is in full effect. So your race might have come into play. However, I will say this, one night I was out sarging and this white Brazilian chick was being very friendly and she wanted to dance with ya boy.

When you get a question like this, tell half the story...or answer the question and simply avoid race and/or country.

As someone stated, you shouldn't be willing to fake your name, just in effort to get with someone whose prejudice of your own kind.

Most likely, if they're predjudice, they're probably sucky people as well.

It has nothing to do with your race. If it was then she wouldnt have messaged you in the first place.
The fact is a lot of online girls do this. I've had this happen to me a few times, sometimes girls have gone as far as to agree to the date AND texted me first after i gave them my number. Only to stop texting me right after I texted back.
This is why I dont expect anything from internet girls until an hour before the date because I've had girls change their mind that close to the actual date.

If it was your race, which I very highly doubt, then at least you have avoided going out with a racist.
