This is really for the purpose of learning, because I don't think I'll see this chick in the future.

So, on my way to a party, my roommate and I heard some loud music from a building. She was walking with her friend and I asked her if she knew what was going on. The four of us tag along in the search for booze and a party.

After lots of kino, c&f, etc, she's pretty into by the time we get to a party. I'm sort of all over the room, talking with some people and dancing with several girls, but not so much with her (maybe once). So anyway, this guy I know who had met us up on the way dances with her. He's sorta of my wingman at this point (since my roommate went to meet his girlfriend), so I'm like meh, let them have their fun, I'll game her after this song. Song ends, they're gone. I find them in some back room talking on a couch. Doesn't seem like there was much action, but I was still like wtf. So I go back to the party and enjoy myself.

Fast forward a week. After some online chatting, I invite her to a concert. Verbally, and in terms of body language, everything goes right, but I'm pretty sure I don't touch her a single time. Absolutely no kino. Don't know why, because there were plenty of chances to, but I just didn't.

So after the concert, I walk her back. We get to her building, she opens the door, and in some sort of surprise move, hints her body language as if she wanted me to come in. Now, I'm already convinced that I screwed up this 'date', so I'm ready to leave. Only as I said goodbye and turn around did I realize I probably could have gone in and sealed the deal. I slap myself as I walk away.

Someone explain this to me. Maybe it was just mindgames, but the lack of kino made the whole ordeal a little lackluster, yet I wasn't outright rejected at the end. Thoughts? Like I said, the opportunity has passed, it's a next, but for the purposes of education...

I don't know enough from your DR (date report) at the concert how well and what you did to entertain this girl. The fact that she didn't warm up and kino you was probably due to a lack of attraction. You weren't giving her reasons to reward you with kino since the both of you were part of an audience, not the focus of the date. The focus HAS to be on HER and YOU; not the band.

Concert date is easier and better than a movie because you can at least see her body language better, but you can't comfort build (for trust intimacy later) during a loud rock concert.

Next time, grab some coffee before venue changing her to the concert, so she can warm up to you and be able to express herself more. At the concert there are too many distractions and it's harder for her to focus on you (much like a bar/club).

When you dropped her off at the door, you should have gone in for kiss test to measure her interest level in you. Yeah, you probably could have gone in to try to seal the deal, but you probably would have got last minute resistance and some ********, because the attraction and comfort wasn't there.

Did she at least say she had a fun time or any indicators of interest at the door before shutting it? If she didn't say much or seemed withdrawn, you probably won't get a second date.

On the bright side, at least she didn't flake on the date. So you got some experience out of this.

I'm not really sure what you want explained... you didn't make a move and nothing happened. Live and learn I guess. :)
