"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

i've never seen this kind of agressive attitude coming from this chick. she's always so receptive and flirty and just a good time. usually she'll call for stuff like this. however this time it was text.

Her: I'm going up to campus to get some work done today. i actually have work tomorrow at 5:30 (we planned last thursday to meet tomorrow)

Me: what time you going up?
Her: IDK
Her: Why did you call me yesterday (i called her twice)
Me: i wanted to tell you about a development in our business arrangement. regardless. want to meet at 2:45 on campus?

Her: I'm pretty much giving up on our business arrangement. And idk if i want to commit to going up to campus so early.
Me: Why the change?
Her: because its not working
Me: Supply and demand works in our favor. demand is up. which means all we need is supply. which is coming. regardless. you're free to make that choice.
Me: I think there's other factors involved. but that's on you to share.

Her: What do you mean? You know absolutely nothing.
Me: (didn't text her back)

couple things. she was super excited to make some extra cash. however things have been slow with supply. been having problems locking that down. so last quarter she overspent and got under paid. by a lot.

also i told her to always come at me direct and be straight forward. however this is aggressiveness i've not seen from her. we're both under stress and she's even more under stress because right in the middle of the semester she has to go to drunk camp for 4 days. so she'll be missing project start dates and be generally behind in class by a lot.

Si*t Test or not. I felt a non response was best because there was no way to spin that. also i was pretty heated at that comment because i know more than she thinks and she knows it to.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Idk about a sh!t test, but she disrespected you. Not responding was ideal. Is she a coworker or what? You didn't give enough detail.

she works FOR me. i approached her about the offer when we started to become closer friends and i could gauge her a little bit better about what kinda person she was.

so i guess she's a coworker.

details about our arrangement is a non issue.

thanks for the reply. i really do feel that a non response was the best response. considering i will see her next week or if she calls/txt to meet up to help each other on this project we got. not talkign to her is ALSO a non issue.

thing is we've never been down this road of disrespect we've always been straight shooters with each other. helping each other. and just generally supporting each other through probably the hardest semester we've had together. not understanding why she's choosing now to be agressive.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
